Staff-owned Redland acquired new shareholders

Redland is a company owned entirely by its staff, who believe that the happiest employees and most satisfied clients cause natural growth. This autumn the owner base was expanded by new shareholders. Altogether, there are now 13 Redland shareholder employees.

“The requirement for growth and success is a committed and knowledgeable staff. For us, its important to be able to offer our employees the chance to be a shareholder of our company. We currently have a good growth-rate and we expect to reach an almost 3 million turnover by the end of the year”, said Raila Lassila, the CEO of Redland.

New Redland Partners are Art Director & Concept Designer Jussi Löytökorpi,  Web Developer Juuso Niemi, Digital Planner Juho Santala, Project Manager Jussi Salmio and Senior Designer Tanja Pelkonen.

“It’s great to be a member of a team that has an enthusiastic way of doing things and a corporate culture where employees are valued and invested in“ said Jussi Salmio, our newest partner. Salmio moved to Redland in November, as a part of a business-deal in which Redland bought the entire online business of Sirdar Oy.

Tanja Pelkonen, who three years ago started working with user interface design in Redland, is also a new shareholder and agrees with Salmio:

“I appreciate the fact that half of Redland’s profits are used every year towards rewarding, training and improving the well-being of employees. This year I have been involved in developing a overseas remote working possibility, which will be carried out early this spring.”
