Redland and Finnish Business Council cooperate in Dubai

The marketing communications and digital agency Redland has begun cooperation with the Finnish Business Council UAE (FBC). FBC helps Finnish companies to internationalise in the United Arab Emirates. Redland is seeking growth through this cooperation, by offering its services to internationalising Finnish companies.

Dubai is topical for internationally expanding companies and almost 100 Finnish businesses have announced that they will attend the Dubai Expo 2020 world fair. The United Arab Emirates is one of Finland’s largest export countries.

“We are very excited about the opportunities that cooperation with FBC will create for us. Redland’s strength lies in our genuine ability to be a comprehensive growth and development partner for our customers. We also have valuable experience of the needs and problems faced by companies seeking international growth,” says Anne Laitinen, Chief Operating Officer at Redland.

Laitinen, who is in charge of Redland’s development projects, has previously helped to internationalise Finnish companies with Finpro and worked in exports at Isku Interior, including for the previous world fair, Astana Expo 2017.

“With international expertise and well-designed marketing, we ensure that our customers’ entry into the Dubai market and market penetrations succeed as efficiently as possible,” says Laitinen.

Cooperation has begun with Finnspace Dubai, a business hub founded by FBC and Business Finland, which brings the Finnish business community under the same roof by providing work and conference facilities in Dubai Marina. The name and brand image of Finnspace Dubai were created at Redland.

“We are delighted to see Redland involved with the Finnish community hub. The branding of Finnspace Dubai demonstrated their professional skills. Redland understands the local business culture, which they can use for impactful marketing,” says Jaana Räsänen-Pentti, Honorary Chairman of the FBC Board.

Räsänen-Pentti welcomes all Finnish companies to the Finnspace Dubai hub. Redland will also set up shop as one of the first users of Finnspace early this year.

“For our international team, Finnspace Dubai is an easy place to work and network with customers and local partners. We will also offer our entire staff the opportunity to work remotely in Dubai from February onwards,” Laitinen continues.
