Websites and web services
Does your current website bring in leads, and is it at the center of your marketing? Does your website serve potential and current customers efficiently? Our experience from several hundred website projects has helped us create good methods, and we know how to pay attention to keyword searchability, appropriate content, high-quality user experience, as well as excellent technical implementation.
Our starting point for larger web service redesigns is based on creating a digital road map, which we use together to look at service development for the entire life cycle of the website. We constantly design and implement varied websites and web services for various clients. We can adapt our methods according to the desires and needs of our clients. At the design phase, we already include the technical developers in the design process, so that we can ensure that the plan is viable.
We trust the world’s most popular open-source solutions for our website implementation. Our primary website platform is WordPress, which is versatile for many needs. In addition to extensive company websites, we can use WordPress to build e-commerce sites or content management for applications, among other things. We have experience with integrating other systems to WordPress sites, as well.
At times, a client has a predetermined, specific CMS. We can provide technical development on other platforms as well, like Drupal or Squarespace. Squarespace, for example, can occasionally be a more appropriate solution for a publishing platform, particularly when the planned functionalities of the website are narrow.
We also collaborate diversely with a few entities that offer license-based solutions. Thus, we can provide a solution for our clients even when the website needs to be built on Episerver, Sitecore, or even Sharepoint. Although we prefer WordPress as the publishing platform for website implementation, we can build sites on other platforms, as well, such as Drupal and Squarespace.
In addition to websites and web services, we implement varied web applications. For web applications, we prefer developing with React or Angular, and when interfaces are needed, Node or PHP.
How a website project proceeds
The framework of a website project conforms to the following basic formula, which can, of course, be modified to fit the client’s wishes: At the beginning of the project, we determine together with the client what it entails. At the same time, we clarify the division of labor, and mindfully consider the objectives of the project and its schedule. The duration of website projects varies considerably depending on the scope and complexity of the implementation. On average, a development project for a new website takes us roughly two months, but there is a great deal of variation in the duration, plus or minus.
After the initial determinations, we design the structure of the website and create a technical implementation plan. In user interface design, we utilize the results of potential keyword analysis and/or user research. When the user experience and user interface are designed and tested, we implement the website on a technical level. The site is tested for functionality and browser testing is performed.
When the website is published, it can be transferred to maintenance at Redland. In addition to technical maintenance, we can also manage the security updates of the site, technically optimize the site, and conduct small-scale development. We also offer our clients an analytics view that is compiled from many sources, which can help monitor the effect of various marketing activities, and thus optimize them. We base our development proposals on these analytics, so that the site can be developed systematically.
